Classes
My gift to you…..
If I were in your shoes, I would want to try a class to make sure that I enjoyed it. From my point of view, things always work better if you find the right class for you.
For that reason, I would like to offer you a session, as my gift to you.
Please get in touch so that we can arrange which class will suit you best.
Everyone is welcome in my classes regardless of age, race or gender.
You do not need to look a certain way, or be proficient before you start!
I have designed three different class levels just for you.
Gentle | Steady | Challenging
If you have a particular injury which affects many of your movements, or you are in persistent pain, you may find that the group class environment is not suitable for your needs. Please have a look at the information for one to one sessions, or contact me and I will happily give you some further advice.
Gentle.
What feels gentle to one person might not feel gentle to the next. But I have designed this class to be suitable for anyone who needs a slower pace. There will be more time to set yourself up and transition from one movement to the next. Maybe you need a little more time when getting up, or down to the floor? We will work on awareness and balance which makes it very suitable for an older client. If you need a restorative class this will also be perfect for you.
Steady.
This class has been designed for you if you are ready to move on and try a few challenges. Building on the repertoire, as you become more proficient.
Challenging.
This class has been designed for people who are without significant injury or pain. The pace is a little faster and we will cover more of the Classical Pilates matwork. Prepare to get warm.
One to One sessions.
This would be the perfect option for you if you have any pain or injury. Often clients come when they have seen a health practitioner and would like to work in detail on a program to suit their specific needs, with a view to progressing their recovery to full movement health.
Clients have chosen this option for example, who have persistent (chronic) back pain, hip or knee replacements, hypermobility, Osteoperosis, shoulder pain or pelvic floor disfunction.
Some clients choose this option with a view to moving into a group class at some point. Others simply prefer to work in this one to one environment. Please get in touch to discuss your needs.
